ALBANY VINTAGE & CLASSIC MOTORCYCLE WEEKEND
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2021 and SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2021
The format for our premier Club event will be basically the same as last year. The Sunday Hill Climb is starting at
Flinders Parade, Middleton Beach. The run lasts for 1.1km up Marine Drive.
We are lucky enough to be again using the facilities of the Albany Rifle Club, (just past the turn-off to the Wind-Farm,
Frenchmans Bay Road) for the weekend.
It has a clean kitchen, hot showers and toilets facilities available. Camping is available at the Rifle Club for
$10.00 PER HEAD PER NIGHT – no need to book, but you need to pay with a smile on your face, SOMEONE
WILL COLLECT YOUR MONEY. There is also a bar on-site.
Motorcycle Display on the Saturday morning
Stirling Terrace will be closed for non-motorcycle traffic as a safety precaution and as usual the line-up of bikes
should be most interesting. There will also be 2021 Hill Climb metal badges available on the day of the hillclimb.
Saturday Afternoon Rally (Raffle)
This will be in the form of a raffle.Entries will only be taken on Stirling Terrace, Saturday morning. There will be no
prior entries. The rally is suitable for all motorcycles, no matter what size or age. Entries will close at 11.45 am and the
briefing will take place in Stirling Terrace shortly afterwards. The first bike will be away at the end of the briefing.Entry
for the rally is $25 per person.
First prize is $550 cash plus second and third prizes.
The rally is open to any person with a road licensed motorcycle and a current license to ride.
Pillions may also enter. The cost is also $25.
This year the rally will finish at the Albany Rifle Club with afternoon tea again donated by Dylan’s on the Terrace.

Help is always needed early on Saturday morning to secure and set up StirlingTerrace, so come along from 6 am.
Prizes will be presented at the Trophy presentation after the Hillclimb on Sunday
Saturday evening
This year’s meal will not be catered for. Bring your own BBQ packs.
Sunday Hillclimb
This Hillclimb is open to club members and members of other kindred clubs with a motorcycle license,
R-E and R for larger capacities and this should be carried with you. Helmets are compulsory and good motorcycle protective clothing as well as boots and gloves should be worn.
All motorcycles have to be in roadworthy condition, any motorcycle deemed to be unsafe will be disqualified at
the discretionof the Course Marshall or Hillclimb Committee also no megaphones or excessively noisy bikes.
THE NEW VENUE IS IN A BUILT- UP AREA ANY EXCESSIVELY NOISY BIKES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. The
bike has to be capable of completing the Hillclimb in less than 2 minutes, this is to ensure that there are no
overly slow bikes, but not less that 40 seconds. Any runs under 40 seconds will result in one warning, then disqualification from the rest of the event. The bike must also be pre-1980. The first 100 entries will be accepted.
One entry per rider, and the committee have the right to refuse any entry and full monies will be refunded. Entry
fee is $70.
The above license and bike restrictions are to comform with insurance and smooth running on the day.
The Pit Area this year will be on Adelaide Crescent and Flinders Parade.
You’ll be directed by the Club Marshalls where to park.
It’s quite an open area so be prepared.
As always help to erect the course early (5.30 am) on the Sunday morning is appreciated.
RIDERS MUST BE AT MIDDLETON BEACH BEFORE 7 AM
RIDERS BRIEFING WILL BE AT 7.30 AM
If you are late you could make the whole event late.

Group 1 is leaving Friday lunch time please PM me for details. Group 2 cars and trailers on the Sat morning some are riding down as well. Camping at the riffle club (their is a bar ) top weekend come on down. Sunday night at the Club as well.
