DESCRIPTION:Albany Vintage motorcycle club Hill climb is on the weekend of the 7 & 8 November. This is a week later than first advertised.\nDOCWA are putting a small team entry together for pre 85 bikes to run in the event. Places are limited to 100 entrants in the hill climb.\nThese places fill quickly as it is such a good fun event.\nIt’s a fantastic weekend with a display of 200 or so bikes Saturday morning and a good run.\nSunday is the hill climb. \nBelow is the official invite from Charles Walmsley of the V&CMC… \nI’m pleased to inform you that the 2026 Albany Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Club Hillclimb Weekend will be going ahead this year from the 7th to the 8th of November. \nThe static motorcycle display along Stirling Terrace in Albany’s CBD will be on Saturday the 7th of November from 6am-2pm. Here hillclimb entrants can collect there entrant number and programs for the hillclimb the following day. Riders can also enter in the raffle run where prizes can be won departing the display at 1pm. There should be 350-400 motorcycles on display and no doubt there will be a fantastic array of motorcycles. \nThe actual time trial hillclimb will be the following day on Sunday the 8th of November down at Middleton Beach from 7am and wrapping up at 3:30 for presentations. Like previous years the riders briefing will start at 7:30am so we would like entrants to arrive at 7:00am. The practice runs are to follow before the 3 runs of the hillclimb start around mid morning. \nOne change has been made for this years hillclimb. Our club the AVCMC have decided that motorcycles up to December 1985 will be accepted in this years hillclimb. In previous years the cut off was pre 1980. We hope this change will allow a new generation of enthusiasts to enjoy the event but participate safely as always. \nThe entry fee will remain at $130 per rider just like last years event. Riders will be able to access the hillclimb entry forms this Saturday the 1st of August. The 100 spots will fill up quickly so we need to make sure that the entry forms are filled out correctly and the entry fee is transferred to the correct account. This makes it must easier on our end to process each entry. Receipts will be issued to all entrants upon payment. \n
