DESCRIPTION:Hi all\nAs we recently advised\, the DOCWA AGM was rescheduled from 3 July to 17 July to clear COVID distancing restrictions. Good news. It looks like we are in the clear now!\nHere are the meeting details:\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, 17th July 2021.\nTime: 6.00pm for 6.30pm start\nWhere: Belmont Sports and Recreation Club – 400 Abernethy Road Cloverdale\n\n\nTo recap\, the main purpose of the AGM is presentation of full year reports\, dissolving the current committee and re-establishing a new one for 21/22. So if you are interested in getting more involved in the running of the club please feel free to nominate for any of the committee positions.\n\n\nThe Constitution details the roles of the Executive Officers if any of these are of interest to you. We have previously advised that the incumbent Secretary and Treasurer are not intending to re nominate.\n\n\nYou can also give any member of the current committee a call too and they will be happy to explain what the role entails.\n\n\nRSVP. Please let us know\, by return email\, if you plan to attend (for catering purposes). If you can’t attend please also advise this so your apology can be recorded.\n\n\nMembership renewals. Lastly – apart from being a key social event\, the AGM is our key milestone for membership renewals.\n\n\nThis is especially important for members with 404 concessionally licenced bikes to ensure you remain eligible for the concession.\n\n\nFor those members who have already renewed – many thanks! Your membership cards will be available at the AGM or will be mailed to you afterwards if you don’t attend.\n\n\nIf you are intending to renew on the night we can accept payment by card\, cash/cheque or bank transfer. If you want to pay by cash\, having the exact amount will be appreciated.\nMany thanks once again. I look forward to meeting you.
